Upcycling Fashion Brand

Palaina L.O Sapporo Japan From Recycled Fabric to "Upcycling" Palaina L.O is an "upcycling" fashion brand from Hokkaido.

Using recycled kimonos and jeans, we combine various fabrics to create designs that embody Japan's natural scenery, culture, and seasons.

We aim to create sustainable products that can be used for a long time; we are guided by our principle of "upcycling"—reinventing old things and thereby increasing their value.

Our designers graft together fabric from recycled kimonos and jeans with their own hands, creating a single piece of fabric, which is then crafted into bags. Our bags are so beautiful, you'd hardly realize you're using something old, and what's more, they're completely one of a kind.
